Making Every Contact CountMaking a difference, one conversation at a time.
Thousands of conversations happen with residents in Camden and Islington every day. Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is about harnessing the power of short conversations to help people to stay well, access the support they need and cope better in these challenging times.
Our training will help you make the most of your conversations, helping residents think about issues affecting their wellbeing such as money worries, finding a job, mental health and lifestyle issues.
I attended the half day MECC training at the Crowndale Centre and found it to be very positive. It was highly informative and interactive through groupwork and feedback and it was really positive meeting other people from different departments and organisations, for example, Adult Social Care, Housing and external organisations such as pharmacies and Healthwatch.
It seems MECC is catching on with many on what it can deliver and how to apply it.
